Opruiming Mercedes Arox 6x6

De bodemvrijheid is de afstand vanaf het laagste punt in het midden van de carrosserie tot de grond. De fabrikant van de Mercedes-Benz Arocs 6×6 meet echter de bodemvrijheid zoals het uitkomt. Dit betekent dat de afstand van de schokdempers, het motoroliecarter of de uitlaatdemper tot het asfalt kleiner kan zijn dan de aangegeven bodemvrijheid.

Een interessant punt: autokopers besteden speciale aandacht aan de bodemvrijheid, omdat in ons land een goede bodemvrijheid een noodzaak is; het bespaart u hoofdpijn bij het parkeren voor de stoeprand.

De bodemvrijheid van de Mercedes Arox 6x6 bedraagt ​​312 mm. Maar wees voorzichtig als u op vakantie gaat of terugkeert met boodschappen: een beladen auto verliest gemakkelijk 2-3 centimeter bodemvrijheid.

Indien gewenst kan de bodemvrijheid van elke auto worden vergroot met afstandhouders voor schokdempers. De auto zal groter worden. Het zal echter zijn vroegere stabiliteit verliezen bij hoge snelheden en zal aanzienlijk inboeten aan manoeuvreerbaarheid. Ook kan de bodemvrijheid worden verkleind; hiervoor is het in de regel voldoende om de standaard schokdempers te vervangen door tuning: de wegligging en stabiliteit zullen u meteen bevallen.
